Two of the social network related sites/services that I mentioned in my new book Mobile Social Media Marketing were Klout and Twitter. While Twitter is a microblogging service that has taken on a life of it’s own, Klout is quite different. It’s a social network reporting tool that gives you an idea of how effective all of your social networking is.
The two are completely different, both are valuable.
I added them both to the MySmallBiz University Campus. Check any of the students who have updated their profiles and you’ll see their twitter username with the abilty to follow them and also their Klout score with an indication of what they’ve been up to socially.
If you haven’t opened up a twitter account or started to measure your social media klout, today is a good time to start!
